After joining Microsoft from Sun Microsystems in 1992, Nadella quickly became known as a leader capable of transforming some of the company's biggest product offerings. During his tenure, Nadella held a variety of leadership roles in Microsoft's enterprise and consumer businesses, driving double-digit growth of its Cloud and Enterprise group and guiding the development of one of the largest cloud infrastructures in the world to support flagship products such as Office and Xbox. In February 2014, Nadella became Microsoft's third CEO, bringing a deep commitment to innovation and collaboration and an unwavering enthusiasm for Microsoft's role in empowering people to make the world a better place.
